TheWorthHub publishes net worth estimates and biographical information about public figures. Much of this work involves figures that are not officially disclosed. We build our estimates from reported salaries, contract details, property and court records, business filings and credible media coverage.
Despite that process, errors happen. Sources get things wrong. Figures go out of date. Sometimes we misread a filing. When that happens, we want to know, and we fix it.
What counts as an error
We treat the following as corrections:
- A net worth figure that is wrong, outdated or based on a source that has since been retracted
- A factual error in a biography, such as a date, a role, a title, a location or a relationship
- A misattributed quote or a claim credited to the wrong source
- A broken or incorrect source link
A disagreement about an estimate is not automatically an error. Our figures are ranges built from public information, and reasonable people can reach different numbers from the same material. If you believe our reasoning is flawed, we still want to hear it, and we will review the article.
How to report an error
Email us at contact@theworthhub.com with the following:
- The URL of the article
- The specific claim or figure you believe is wrong
- What the correct information is
- A source we can verify, where one exists
The more specific the report, the faster we can act on it.
How we respond
We aim to acknowledge every correction request within three business days.
If the claim is clearly wrong and we can verify the correct information, we update the article immediately. If the issue needs further research, we tell you that and come back once we have checked it. If we conclude the original information was accurate, we explain why.
How we handle corrections on the page
Minor fixes such as spelling, a broken link or a typo are corrected without a note.
Substantive corrections are different. When we change a net worth figure, a date, a career detail or any claim that affects what the article tells a reader, we add a dated correction note at the bottom of the article explaining what changed and why. We do not quietly edit a figure and move on.
Routine updates are also marked. Net worth estimates change as new information becomes available, and articles carry a last updated date so readers can see how current the figure is.
Requests from subjects and representatives
If you are the subject of an article, or you represent them, you are welcome to contact us. We will review any claim you raise and correct anything we got wrong.
We do not remove accurate, published information on request, and we do not alter figures because a subject prefers a different number. What we will do is make sure the article reflects the best available evidence and that your position is fairly represented where relevant.
